When Wednesday, June 2, 8PM
The movie chosen to illustrate the theme of the financial crisis, “The Smartest Guys in the Room,” deals with the ENRON scandal. Please note that the movie will not have subtitles.
The debate in English will be led by three experienced moderators.
- The lead moderator: Mr J. Paul Horne, eminent international financial economist and Director of the Global Interdependence Center (www.interdependence.org) who divides his time between Washington and Paris.
- Co-moderator: Mr. Olivier Bliot, specialist in corporate refinancing, and Director of CACIA, a refinancing company based in Paris and London.
- Co-moderator: Mr. Jean-Christophe Duhamel, a senior doctoral student at the University of Lille 2 Law Faculty whose specialty is the interrelationship between law and economics.
In partnership with the University of Lille 2, the American Club of Lille will present a series of film debates about major American themes.
