AMERICAN CLUB OF LILLE CRAFT CLUB

Come for an evening of craft in the new Craft Club. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing ongoing project, and if you don’t know how, we’ll share each others skills and start new projects. Come for an evening of discovery, laughter, and fun!

THANKSGIVING 2009 Sunday November 29 1PM to 6PM ECOLE ACTIVE BILINGUE JEANNINE MANUEL 418 bis rue Albert Bailly MARCQ EN BAROEUL. Directions Cablecar station: Cartelot. Walk north 1/2 mile until roundabout, make a right on roundabout. Walk for another 1/4 mile. The school will be on the right hand side.

MENU * Salad* *** Turkey Cranberry Sauce Mashed Potatoes Sweet Potatoes Green Beans *** Pumpkin Pie* Coffee, Tea * *If you choose to bring a salad or a home-made dessert, it will be welcome but not necessary.

Once again this year, the American Club of Lille will partner with the Ecole Active Bilingue Jeannine Manuel (EABJM) to celebrate Thanksgiving in the American tradition.

Adults will mingle in the warm atmosphere of a relaxed Thanksgiving afternoon sharing an abondance of food and good spirits. Children will have craft activities, outside ball games (weather permitting), and a movie.

Halloween Party ‘09

Members children are encouraged to come dressed up if they so choose for an afternoon of crafts, pumpkin decorating, and fun at the home of our gracious host Julie and François Pattou.

If you don’t have a child, you may still come and join the fun!

Here are a few items we ask EACH child to bring:

- Large empty water bottle
- Square flat flashlight
- White tissue paper
- Empty toilet paper roll
- Bag of candy (M&M’s, etc. to decorate cookies, cupcakes or eat as is)
