Craft Club

Published by olivia under Description

Welcome to the American Club of Lille Craft Club!

Inspired by the book, The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacob, a new social activity is starting in the Fall 09 at the American Club of Lille.

If you enjoy knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, or any other craft like activity, then come and share your talents with others. Bring whatever you are working on for an evening of crafting, munching on goodies and social interaction. If you don’t have a special craft, someone will surely be able to help you start on a project.

Directions to Coutiches (about 20 minutes by car):

Take Highway, Direction Paris.

Take the A23, direction Valenciennes, about 15 km.

Sortie No. 2b, at Orchies, take direction Douai at the rond-point.

Coutiches is the first village. Go through the first traffic light in the center of town. About 100 meters further on go through another traffic light and see a pharmacie on your right. Take the next right after about another 100 meters.

Just follow the road for about a kilometer and a half until you come to the number 607 rue des Ramoniers. It’s an ensemble of brick buildings on the right after an open field on your right. There is a red iron gate with a red upright mailbox, kind of English looking, in front. The entrance is at the far end of the low brick wall just past the house.

Park in the street

If you need transportation or can offer a ride to someone, please contact Vincent who will organize a car pool from Lille
