Directions
By car from Lille: allow 20 minutes.
Take to boulevard with its mini tunnels from Lille to Roubaix. The tramway is on your right. At Croisé Laroche the boulevard forks into Tourcoing and Roubaix. Make sure you follow Roubaix.The tramway will be on your right. Do not drive into the center of Roubaix. On arriving in Roubaix, the boulevard goes down a hill. At the base of that hill you will see a pharmacy on your right on the corner of the boulevard and rue Jean Moulin. You are only 4 minutes from Dawne’s. Turn sharp right at the light and immediately sharp left on to the Avenue André Diligent. You come to a traffic circle. Take the 3rd on your right on to rue Saint-Jean. At the first traffic light turn right onto Rue de Lannoy. Dawne’s house, no 158, is on your right. Park wherever you can.
If you come from anywhere else, go to Roubaix centre ville where you will find signs for rue de Lannoy or park your car near Eurotéléport or McArthur Glen and walk to Dawne’s, no 158.
By public transport:
Take the tram at Gare Lille Flandres to Roubaix. Get off at the last stop, Eurotéléport. By metro take direction C.H. Dron and get off at Eurotéléport. You will see the McArthur Glen mall. Rue de Lannoy starts right there. It’s about a 5 minute walk to Dawne’s, no 148.
If you come by public transport, we’ll organize a car ride back to Lille.

American Club of Lille members and their friends are invited to gather at the Patinoire Olympique Serge Charles in Wasquehal for a Sunday afternoon of skating and fun. American club members will wear red, pink or white tee-shirts (St Valentine Day!!) so they can be identified.

The Ice Skating Rink Serge Charles is located 13, rue du Molinel 59290 Wasquehal.
We’ll meet at the entrance at 2:30PM.
Cost is 5 euros for the afternoon, and you may rent skates for 2 euros.

Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe published in 1958 depicting through fiction an unsentimental rendering of Nigerian tribal life before and after the coming of colonialism.
and
Marley and Me by John Grogan published in 2005 is the autobiography of Grogan and his family’s life during the thirteen years that they lived with their Labrador Retriever, Marley.
