American Club of Lille members and their friends are invited to gather at the Patinoire Olympique Serge Charles in Wasquehal for a Sunday morning of skating and fun. American club members will wear pink or white tee-shirts over their coats so they can be identified.
The Ice Skating Rink Serge Charles is located 13, rue du Molinel 59290 Wasquehal. We’ll meet at the entrance at 10AM. Cost is 5 euros for the morning, and you may rent skates for 2 euros. RSVP with Rouslan Sorokine Directions Or |

Informative Evening on the closing of American Consulate in Lille

The U.S. Consul in Lille , Jeffrey Hawkins, would like to inform you that the Consulate will close on March 2008 for budgetary reasons. Before his departure, he would like to meet the American community on February 6th, at 6:30 PM, at the Maison des Associations, 72-74 rue Royale, in Lille to answer any questions that the participants may have and explain the consular redistricting of the Nord-pas-de-Calais/Picardie area, which is to be covered by the US. Embassy in Paris.
