Rachel modified a basic cream cheese recipe with French ingredients. None left over at the end of Thanksgiving dinner party!!!

Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cookie crumbs (crushed Petits Beurres, almost an entire package)
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine melted
- 680g fromage à tartiner or La Vache Qui Rit
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
Mix crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of pan (and up the sides if you have the patience).
Beat cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer or by hand until well blended
Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition just until blended.
Pour mixture over crust.
Bake at 170°C for 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes or until center is almost set.
Run knife or spatula around side of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing from pan.
Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight –it’s always better the following day

Once again this year, the American Club of Lille will partner with the Ecole Active Bilingue Jeannine Manuel (EABJM) to celebrate Thanksgiving in the American tradition. EABJM children will present a Thanksgiving theatrical representation under the attentive eyes of their teacher, and adults will mingle in the warm atmosphere of a relaxed Thanksgiving afternoon, sharing an abondance of food and good spirits.
